The Emerald Vipers are major antagonists. They are warriors driven by an revenge against their predecessors, the Crimson Blade, and now the Golden Lions Guard.

Emerald Vipers philosophy lionizes conflict as a catalyst for growth and as a tool for purging the unworthy. Members of the Emerald Vipers adhere to master morality, are characterized by the desire to seize power by any means necessary, leveraging fear, social maneuvering, and political cunning to their advantage. Vipers cultivate a connection to the darkness, which provides them with fear, power and arcane knowledge.

Over their long history, the The Emerald Vipers have established great empires, come close to realizing their ambitions of Land conquest, and at one point nearly eradicated the Crimson Blade.

The Emerald Vipers rose to power once again when the Qin Shin Zhang V decided to take over the land of Kara-Tur Northern Area where is his Father Qin Shin Zhang IV ruled. With the help of the Emerald Vipers they took the Northern area by force, to Rule the lands.

The Emerald Vipers begin to develop their culture and civilization, their religion begins.
Oda Kiyomori a Viper Lord rules as Emperor of the Emerald Vipers. He later led the Vipers race to victory over the invading the Island of WA, but at the cost of his own life, plunging the Emerald Vipers into civil war.
The Emerald Vipers are defeated, the Crimson Blade establish their main empire on Wa. The Emerald Vipers is forbidden to the Crimson Blade and will not rebel until 500 years later.
Date Hideyoshi and his students leave the Crimson Blade's in the First Great War.
The First Great War ends and the Emerald Vipers are defeated.
A group of Crimson Blade break off from the House, and pioneer the science of Emerald Viper monsters, starting the Second Great War (The Great War II) - the war known as the Hundred-Year Darkness.
Exiled after their defeat during the Hundred-Year Darkness, the Emerald Vipers arrive on Korzay Mountains, where they interbreed with the natives, and form the Vipers Empire.
Viper Lord known as Toyotomi Masamune is defeated in a small battle. The remaining Vipers Warriors flee to Ama Basin.
Toyotmi Masamune dies at the hand of Emperor Qin Shi Zhang who also loses his life during the small battle.
Viper Empire collapse, following the defeat of Toyotomi Masamune ten years later.
Crimson Blade Territory South of the Korzay Mountians falls to the Vipers.
The Third Great War(The Great War III) occurs on Korzay Mountain, resulting the Viper fleeing to Chukei.
Taira Kiyomori descendants of Lord Viper Oda Kiyomori lead the Emerald Vipers in a skirmish with the Crimson Blade, and the New Viper Uprising. The Great Viper War begins.
Korzay Moutinans falls to the Emerald Vipers. There Taira Kiyomori finds that the Emerald Vipers, are under ground, and never really left.
The Emerald Vipers of Korzay Mountains and Taira Kiyomori fall during the small Battle of the Mountain.
Shogun Renzo hero of the Great War III falls under the influence of the Emerald Vipers after discovering the Viper Dojo on Ama Basin, a relic of the True Viperis found.
Shogun Renzo, betrays the Crimson Blade, declares himself Viper Lord of the Emerald Vipers, and forms a new Viper Empire.
Viper Lord Renzo and the Emerald Vipers, invades the Crimson Blade's during the Second Viper War. Renzo is supposedly killed when his apprentice betrays him, but later reappears as a Crimson Blade, having returned to the Crimson Blade. Renzo leads Crimson Blade's to victory by defeating his apprentice and destroying the new Viper Empire.
In the wake of the Great War IV, the First Viper Civil War erupts on Korzay Mountain, and virtually wipes out the Emerald Vipers followers of Rezon and his apprentice. Which emerges a new Viper Lord Traya.
Viper Lord Traya wage a war upon the devastated Crimson Blade, but are defeated by the Samurai of the Blade's. A Second Vipers fight over the remnants of their empire.
The Great War IV, led by a new Viper Lord Traya.
Emperor Qin Shi Zhang II dies by the hands of Viper Lord Traya in the Great War IV.
Viper Lord Traya, forms a new Emerald Vipers army.
The Vipers prove to be their own undoing, as internal power struggles destroy their organization. Viper Lord Traya unites the survivors under the Emerald Vipers, and grants the title of "Lord" to many Vipers.
Emperor Qin Shi Zhang II son Qin Shi Zhang III takes over as Emperor and the Great War IV ends.
Emperor Qin Shi Zhang III meets with Viper Lord Traya for a truce. Which starts the Great War V.
Both Crimson Blade and Emerald Vipers armies are destroyed in the War of V, leaving Viper Lord Traya the only survivor.
Qin Shi Zhang IV rises from the ashes of the Great War V and becomes new Empire of Wa island.
A Unknown Viper Lord provoke The Son of Qin Shi Zhang IV into taking over the Emperor to start a Father and Son Civil War, and many Crimson Blade's die, or turn to the Emerald Vipers.
Son of Zhang IV becomes the New Emperor for the Emerald Vipers
The Crimson Blade falls and the New Viper Empire is established by the Unknown Viper Lord and Qin Shi Zhang V. The Emerald Vipers rule the Land once more.
